The Original Concept

The original concept for Chalet Spa Verbier was developed between 2006-2008, and led to innovative industrial designs. The fireplace chimney was specially designed for Chalet Spa, composed of a massive concrete section suspended from the roof structure, with substantial horizontal and angular roof timbers incorporated for support using original Valaisain methods. The whole structure is covered in tinted magic mirror glass, to highlight the neutral colours of the room and reflect the external views which stretch 280 degrees from the East to the West and North West over Verbier and the surrounding Alps. Toward the bottom of the chimney, four integrated glass sides can be raised or lowered inside the chimney, so that guests can look through between the floor and the suspended chimney structure, enhancing the feeling of space.

The Penthouse Master Suite with private terrace

The penthouse suite on the top floor is accessed by a private staircase and has a glazed gas fireplace opposite the bed, through which guests have a romantic view over the mountains and high Alps to the South, East and West of the property. This luxury suite also features a bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower, and a private terrace to take in the view. All bedrooms in the chalet have been designed using quality materials, they are all en-suite with complimentary luxury bath and beauty products.

Ambient lighting & Air Quality Management System

Throughout the property, the lighting has been carefully selected and incorporates a blend of Italian, Swiss and Japanese designers, to ensure a gentle mix of colour and light to create a calming ambience both inside and out. An air management system ensures that fresh hydrated air is continually exchanged throughout the property to avoid the dryness often associated with properties at altitude and to encourage restful sleep.

Indoor Living Space opens on to outdoor terraces with an abundance of features

The entire living floor opens onto a large terrace composed of decking and mountain stone, bordered by a massive BBQ with rotisserie, landscaped alpine gardens and Christmas trees. In the Spa level gardens below, a border of substantial Christmas trees are decorated with small sparkly white lights creating a special ambiance and giving guests an impression of Christmas all year round.

Designer Indoor heated Swimming Pool and Spa with spectacular views

Chalet Spa Verbier has a designer indoor infinity pool which is continually refreshed using a Siemens filtration system which avoids the use of chlorine and chemicals. Alongside the pool area is a sauna, as well as a massage therapy room and an indoor gym. There is also an outdoors fitness area and these facilities include a Concept 2 rower, Schwinn Spinner, TRX and various other Technogym equipment.

Fussball, Darts, Cinema and Multi Media Room for relaxing all year round

A games room with billiard table and darts area leads guests to the cinema & multi media room, which has a minibar, high definition media centre, with 3D projector system, Satellite TV, Apple TV, Netflix, and much more. Various games are available in the cinema room.

Automated Environmental Control Systems

Finally, each area of Chalet Spa Verbier gives guests access to adjust the chalet environment to their tastes. Audio Visuals, shutters, heating and lighting are all easy to operate, making it easy for guests to regulate the chalet to their own requirements.
