By early Summer, the mountains of Verbier are covered in Swiss Alpine flowers. In the lower meadows are an abundance of primroses, heathers, gentians, daisies, bellflowers and buttercups.
The higher mountains above the tree line have rarer species that thrive away from populated areas. Every flower represents a delicate eco system, and hiking or biking at this time of year can be a feast for the eyes, only accentuated by the sound of Swiss cowbells, as large herds graze between the meadows.
Nature at its best! Enjoy the photos.
